WELCOME

The Roman poet Horace is attributed with saying that a picture is a poem without words. Well, that's what we like to think too, although some words will be allowed (what's a card without the occasional sentiment). Welcome to the Without Words Challenge where we want you to create clean and simple cards, focusing on the image without the distractions of too many embellishments. We hope you enjoy this challenge as much as we do!

March: The Bunny is Coming / Easter

Well hello to you!  A huge warm welcome to WITHOUT WORDS today and the launch of our challenge for March.

Before we get on to the good stuff, I have to put my Nagging Hat on again and beg you to please check the rules for the challenge before you add your entries.  It really is simple:

A CAS design that must feature a handcoloured image
Minimal (or none at all) embellishments
You may use a sentiment if you wish

At some stage in the future I will find the strength to explain minimal!

I fear I have repeated myself so many times over the months that those three rules may become my epitaph!  Ignore the rules at your peril.  Entries that do not comply will be disqualified.  Simple as.

Just before we get to the theme, we have some exciting news with the arrival of another new Word Bird!  Many of you know and admire this lady, and we are thrilled to have her and her amazing colouring skills to join the talented crew.
Please say a big, warm hello to FAYE of Stampin Fluffnstuff!

Right then, let's get on with it!  Our theme for this month is
The Bunny Is Coming / Easter
We would like to see your makes for Easter, or, if you do not celebrate Easter then something that features a rabbit.

Our sponsor for this challenge is the delightful Elaine from QUIXOTIC PAPERIE
