WELCOME

The Roman poet Horace is attributed with saying that a picture is a poem without words. Well, that's what we like to think too, although some words will be allowed (what's a card without the occasional sentiment). Welcome to the Without Words Challenge where we want you to create clean and simple cards, focusing on the image without the distractions of too many embellishments. We hope you enjoy this challenge as much as we do!

February: Je t'aime

Hello folks, and welcome to February and another challenge here at Without Words!

I must thank my fellow Word Bird Annette for holding the fort for me last month while I endured computer problems - I think you will agree that she did a great job.

Before we get on to February, I would like to offer a huge and warm welcome to our newest followers - great to have you on board and we are looking forward to seeing your entries over the coming months.  We have some fun themes on the way so there is no excuse for not getting colourful with us!

So, our theme for this month, and what else could it be, is
Je t'aime
It does not have to be a Valentine card, but definitely needs to show some loving.  It could be for your partner, your best friend, a parent, or even a pet, but we would like to see you getting all loved up!

Our sponsor for February is MAKE IT CRAFTY with a $15 voucher for our winner

January: Dreaming of Spring

Happy New Year Everybody !

Well 2015 is upon us, and all the Word Birds hope that you had a lovely Christmas and New Year.

Welcome to January at Without Words and this month the theme is:

Dreaming of Spring
(Well, we can be optimistic right?!)

It's up to you how you interpret this, but remember we are a Clean and Simple challenge, so you need to resist adding those embellishments that Santa may have brought you, and make sure you include a hand-coloured image as the main focus.

Our sponsor this month is
Crafter's Companion with a £10 Store Voucher:
Crafter's Companion

And the Word Birds have come up with some super inspiration to get you all dreaming of Spring.

Lisa
