WELCOME

The Roman poet Horace is attributed with saying that a picture is a poem without words. Well, that's what we like to think too, although some words will be allowed (what's a card without the occasional sentiment). Welcome to the Without Words Challenge where we want you to create clean and simple cards, focusing on the image without the distractions of too many embellishments. We hope you enjoy this challenge as much as we do!

OUR CHALLENGE

Without Words is a monthly challenge - each new challenge will go live on the 1st Monday of each month. Each month a winner will be selected to receive the prize provided by that month's sponsor. A Top 3 will also be chosen and all four cards will be chosen on merit. Those cards will be showcased on our Stars of the Month page. We will also choose an occasional "Most Improved". Please remember that we would like your card or project to be clean and simple with the focus on the image and fabulous colourwork. We hope you will enjoy the challenge enough to come back and join us month after month.

CLEAN AND SIMPLE

CLEAN AND SIMPLE - OUR DEFINITION: A very simple layout with the absolute minimum of embellishments (or none at all), allowing the focus of the card to be a well coloured image. Sentiments are fine.
